David Womer, M.S. founded
Back Into Nature in 1994 to bring the outdoors closer to home and people closer to nature. David, who received a bachelor and master of science degree in biology from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, previously worked as a staff naturalist and environmental educator in Somerset County, New Jersey. He has taught and developed programs in environmental science and natural history for pre-schoolers to senior citizens. David, whose team has twice won the renowned World Series of Birding competition in New Jersey, also enjoys participating in The Great Texas Birding Classic. With the help and support of his wife Ann, he enjoys sharing his broad knowledge and love of nature with people of all ages.
